Underground construction as a groundbreaking achievement? Déjà vu! All the way back in prehistoric times, man looked for protection under ground and found it. The only difference today is that daylight comes with it.
The Futuro project Liestal (BL) is a pioneering achievement covering over 10,500 m2. The low energy costs of this CHF 100 million project are particularly telling. Thanks to excellent insulation, heating costs will be extremely low as the surrounding soil passes on a large part of its energy. Another factor is the optimal use of sunlight. All in all, a working atmosphere in which one feels comfortable and protected.
