Stücki Shopping CenterMall, Basel

Tivona, the Basel real estate company based in Kleinhüningen, is planning a two-floor shopping center on the site of the old Stückfärberei (dyeworks) in combination with a hotel and office building on nine floors. With the new complex arising on the opposite bank of the Wiese, Tivona is fulfilling an urgent need.

 

The investment is worth CHF 80 million and the new Stücki site will add value to the area between the new Hochbergplatz and the nearby natural park and forest Lange Erlen. Diener & Diener Architects (Basel) are planning a four-part structure parallel to Badenstrasse with the head of the construction pointing towards the Wiese river. The flat sales area stretches out between four towers and the facades will be greened with climbing plants.
