BaselArea now marketing the Fricktal

Economic Promotion BaselArea and Canton Aargau have signed a service-level agreement. As from 1 June 2012, BaselArea will now promote the attractions not only of Cantons Basel-Stadt, Baselland and Jura, but also of the Fricktal, to its international customers.

Barely 18 months after Canton Aargau left the Greater Zurich Area, Aargau and BaselArea have reached an agreement to collaborate. In future, BaselArea will also promote the attractions of the Fricktal as an attractive business center for its customers abroad. The organization will thus have more commercial space at its disposal to offer potential investors. With the support of BaselArea, Canton Aargau wants to attract innovative foreign companies to the Fricktal.

 

Trial phase until end of 2013
The collaboration between Canton Aargau and BaselArea will initially run until 31 December 2013. A decision on extending the collaboration will be made in the second half of 2013. If both parties are satisfied with what has been achieved, the collaboration will be continued.
