Sheena Bethell

Sheena Bethell is Head of Life Sciences Projects for BaselArea Business Development.  She is primarily responsible for the Life Sciences industries and for North America, the United Kingdom and Asia Pacific.  Sheena has lived in the Basel area since 1993, working for Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals, Novartis and Syngenta.  

Sheena graduated from the University of Alberta in 1982 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has subsequently obtained an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.  She worked for the Premier of Alberta, as Research Officer and subsequently as Executive Assistant.  

Sheena is married and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, traveling, wine tasting and reading.
