Préparer l'avenir
La région de Bâle investit dans les infrastructures, préparant ainsi le terrain pour un développement futur. La région étend actuellement ses infrastructures de transport, avec notamment l'accroissement des capacités de fret de l'aéroport de Bâle-Mulhouse, la modernisation du port du Rhin, l'expansion des espaces consacrés aux salons commerciaux, l'extension du réseau autoroutier avec notamment la Transjurane dans le Jura, ainsi que l'extension du réseau européen de trains à grandes vitesse. Dans toute la région, de nouveaux bureaux, laboratoires et bâtiments industriels sortent de terre. Outre les investissements massifs réalisés par des multinationales telles que Novartis et Roche, des projets majeurs sont menés ça et là, afin que toutes les entreprises, quelles qu'elles soient, disposent de locaux adaptés.
