ProVolta, Basel

A new traffic hub and district is opening up around the St. Johann railway station, defined as the new focal point Basel Nord. The ProVolta area links the St. Johann residential area with the industrial areas to the north and abuts onto the Novartis Campus that is currently under development. As well as new living accommodations, the area around the St. Johann railway station, industrial and service businesses will benefit from the excellent neighborhood.

 

The SBB working fields are an integral part of the ProVolta city development project. Quality of life in the St Johann neighborhood, which has suffered considerably as a result of the construction of the Nord Tangente main access road, will increase considerably.
